Lucuma Powder

Our certified organic Lucuma Powder is made from whole Peruvian lucuma fruit that has been dried at low temperatures and milled into a fine powder.

Hailed as the "The Gold of the Incas", lucuma fruit is a rich source of antioxidants, dietary fiber, healthy carbohydrates, and vitamins including beta-carotene, niacin, and minerals. Lucuma powder is a delightful, low sugar sweetener that has light butterscotch and maple syrup undertones. It is sweet without being overpowering or cloying. Our lucuma is grown on small family-owned organic farms and is tree ripened, hand picked, then gently milled at low temperatures to preserve the vital nutrients. Often seen in desserts and sweets in South America, it makes an excellent addition to desserts, smoothies, and other sweet treats!
